Woohoo! There’s nothing quite like the summer anticipation of the Nordstrom Anniversary 2023 Sale and I am getting so excited for this July “holiday” to arrive! As savvy shoppers know, this is THE most anticipated sale of the year and dare I say, the best time of year to start your holiday shopping. It can all be a bit overwhelming, but I’m here to help you break down the sale and get the most out of your shopping experience.
What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
July means Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 month! Plain and simple it is THE retail sale of the year where Norstrom offers significant discounts on a wide range of products, including clothing, accessories, shoes, beauty, and home decor. Unlike traditional sales, this event features new, on-trend items for the upcoming season, allowing shoppers to get ahead of the fashion curve. It’s the best time of year to revamp your wardrobe with the latest fashion trends and take advantage of what is typically the lowest prices of the season.
When is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
These sale dates are very important because, if I have learned anything in my years of shopping the sale, I do know that sale items sell out quickly! You will need to have a shopping strategy and be on top of ordering at the very possible date for your status.
EARLY PREVIEW STARTS JULY 3RD. Forget the early days of perusing the beautiful Nordstrom Anniversary printed catalog. EVERYONE will have access to the preview of the sale on Monday, July 3rd. Be sure to preview and preview again – there are so many great items and each time you look, you will be sure to find new things. The best plan of attack is to add items to your WISH LIST for easy checkout when you are able to shop.
CARDMEMBER EARLY ACCESS, JULY 11 – JULY 16. As always, Nordstrom card members get the earliest access to the sale and to be honest, many items will be gone by the time the sale opens to everyone. Your shopping access day will depend on your Nordy Card status – the higher your level, the sooner you get to shop. Just login to your Nordstrom account to see your status:
ICON Cardholders can shop starting July 11th at 12:01 a.m. EST
AMBASSADORS get access starting on July 12th, at 12:01 a.m. EST
INFLUENCERS get access on July 13th at 12:01 a.m. EST
EVERYONE can shop the sale starting July 17th at 12:01 a.m. EST
The sale goes through August 6th and prices go back up on August 7th! My best advice is to shop early and shop quickly – order what you think you might want and make returns later! If you think about an item too long, it will likely be gone by the time you’re ready to order. If there is one single thing you can do to best prepare for the sale, it would be to get yourself a Nordstrom Card now so you have earlier shopping access than the general public. Those few days make a huge difference in inventory availability during the Anniversary Sale. As an added bonus, NEW card members get a $40 Bonus Note just for opening an account, if they place an order on the same day as being approved for the account. You can wait for apply for the card when the sale starts, or open it earlier and make a small purchase so you have your note and wish list ready to go. If you already have a Nordstrom Card, be sure to check your available rewards and also plan to use one of your DOUBLE POINTS DAYS on the day you intend to do most of your shopping! Those points really add up quickly!
